This free event offers residents a safe and convenient way to dispose of household hazardous materials\, protecting both your home and the environment.\nWhat is Collected?\n\nCleaning supplies (window cleaners\, drain cleaner\, bathroom cleaner and any products containing bleach or ammonia)\nPesticides\, insecticides\, weed killers\nPaint removers\nOld or toxic wood preservatives\nSwimming pool chemicals\nFluorescent light ballasts and bulbs\nAlkaline and rechargeable batteries\nThermostats containing mercury\n\nWhat is NOT Collected?\n\nNo Paint – Please visit PaintCare\, Inc. to find a drop-off event location\nNo Explosives or ammunition\nNo medical or biological waste\nNo asbestos\nNo 55-gallon drums\nNo radioactive materials\nNo waste in containers larger than 5-gallons\n\nSafety Notice for Household Hazardous Waste Event\nFor everyone’s safety\, please keep materials in labeled containers\, securely closed\, and place them in a box in the trunk or bed of your vehicle.
